The Division of Rheumatology of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Sherbrooke is located in the University Hospital Center of Sherbrooke (Québec, Canada).

The Division of Rheumatology counts 4 basic researchers : Dr. Gilles Boire, Dr. Artur J de Brum-Fernandes, Dr. Jean-Luc Parent, and Dr. Sophie Roux. Their research works are supported by the CIHR, The Arthritis Society, the NSERC, the Kidney Foundation, the FRSQ, and The Canadian Arthritis Network, without forgetting the various industrial partners.

The clinical rheumatologists of this Division (the Drs. Gilles Boire, Alessandra Bruns, Artur-J de Brum-Fernandes, Patrick Liang, Ariel Masetto, and Sophie Roux) also participate in sponsored and subsidized clinical research targeting Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Juvenile Inflammatory Arthritis, and Chronic Pain.
